Course was informative. Could have been more complex by adding more dynamic functionalities. In concepts point view I think they covered how and why exactly they were using a functionality.

few minor mistakes in provided code snippets but overall gives good understanding of django web framework with working knowledge from practice and quizzes.

Their code snippet and lab instructions have so many errors. The course material is too repetitious and poorly organized. I know that facing the error is a normal thing in programming that developers have to deal with, but did the instructor intentionally create the error on purpose? Who knows...

Why should I wait for my peer to get the certificate? I'll change the review if these problems are solved.

Its strongest side are the projects, with them you learn how to seriously develop websites. You practice the concepts and techniques a lot. In general the explanations range from good to excellent.

Dear Instructors,
I hope this note finds you well. My name is Hamza Ayed and I am writing to express my gratitude for the Django Web Framework course that I have recently taken. I have always been interested in web development and have been looking for a way to expand my knowledge in this field. This course came as an opportunity for me to do so, and I am happy to say that I have learned a lot from it.
The course has helped me understand the basics of the Django framework and how it can be used to create web applications. I have learned about the different components of the framework such as views, models, and templates, and how they work together to create a seamless user experience.
I loved the way the course was structured and the way the material was presented. The instructors were knowledgeable and helpful, and the examples provided were practical and easy to understand. The course also provided a great opportunity to interact with other students and share our knowledge and experiences.
I would like to thank the instructors and the staff at avatarTaught for all their hard work and dedication in making this course a success. I am looking forward to applying what I have learned in my future projects.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Hamza Ayed

A lot of good stuff. Great introduction to Django Framework. Good exercises. I would only suggest that final assignment should be without step by step guide, because its just to easy and it does not check any knowledge. I am surprised even tho there is step by step guide people still cannot create fully functional app. Seems some people just want the certificate.

I have always wanted to learn the Django Framework since I primarily use Python for programming. This course helped me understand the concepts and syntax of Django. It also included many labs and materials that supported me throughout the course. Also, the lecturers were great at explaining topics and providing examples while writing the code.

You need to have built some projects by watching tutorials in order to better understand what is being said ! In general it was a great course !

It has been a very good course. I has required a lot of effort on my part not only to solve the assignments but also to install the necessary software and applications (MySQL, Visual Studio Code, etc). I did not have prior experience with all this set of software.
I have found some dissimilarities between what is mentioned in the videos and the reading assignments. One has to really listen and read both carefully before implementing code. May be some of those videos and readings need to be updated and/or corrected.
At the time of working on the final peer-grade assignment I found some errors and typos in the instructions. I had to correct them on my own, but this has also been part of the learning experience. In addition, the server has run very slowly and in a discontinued way. I had to dedicate quite a bit of time to introduce data and check the results of my code.

It is a great high-level introduction to Django. It doesn't go into much detail about things like the ORM or Class based views, and the assignments are very easy, so you need to challenge yourself outside the course. Overall I enjoyed taking the course and learnt a lot from it in a short time, I would recommend to anyone just starting Django

I did expect this course to have more focus on Class-based views and generic views. Also the course did not cover any authentication like login or signup system
Others where fine

Lots of great information, poor execution. There were abundant typos, the material was not consistent across readings/videos, quiz questions were often worded poorly, and projects often contained incorrect information or topics that hadn’t been discussed before. As a teacher myself, I noticed many aspects that, while correct by programming standards, could be rewritten to be better for learning. It has great potential! It was a very helpful launchpad, but it’s definitely not a reliable, comprehensive resource on its own.

The course has an outstanding video content, but same time a lot of issues with the structure, examples and questionaries. It looks like it's too raw at the moment, like there was a nice video tutorial and it was decided to add texts, labs and quizes made by other participants without good coordination. It needs a thorough structure and quality check. I provided feedback for the issues that found so far, editors could contact me for more details.

This course is very sloppily put together. Nearly every reading and lab is full of mistakes, as if nobody looked over any of it after it was first written. Sometimes the lab instructions will be outright incorrect and misleading. This was fine for me, as an experienced developer, but I can imagine it would be terrible for a newcomer. The quizzes are also frustrating to deal with because they sometimes ask about things that aren't in the course materials, or ask about unimportant details like the order of parameters in a function call. That being said, since the quizzes can be retaken quite liberally, this isn't a huge issue. In general, you can learn Django by going through this course, it has all of the necessary information in it. The labs are a convenient way of applying and solidifying your knowledge, but for some reason the web browser built in to VSCode for these labs is extremely laggy (it sometimes takes several minutes to click a link). Anyway, I think most people would be better off just reading Django's documentation and experimenting by themselves.
